Hey guys!
As promised, we've been working really hard on the CTF servers and we've made some nice changes, cleaning and polishing all of the CTF bugs and annoying issues that you've encountered in your games. We're also planning future updates (stats, new maps [lots ready, just need to be added], and new classes), too, but we wanted to ensure that the bugs were stamped out rather than adding new things only for the bugs to ruin it. Here's a changelog:
- Can no longer do /class with the flag, you'll die upon changing class no matter what. Meaning no flag-camping.
- Invisible / Visible tweaks with Ninja when holding redstone, easier to see when you're visible or invisible.
- We've got rid of chests, meaning all you need to do is walk up to the floating wool block to get the flag, and walk to your flag to capture it. Much more easier.
- People who have got the flag are now easily seen, you have a floating wool going around your head. See screenshots below.
- Many other bug fixes which are minimal / hardly seen, and only affect the background/running of the game itself.
 Above: as you can see, the wool block (flag) is now sitting on top of a fence instead of in a chest.  Above: in this case, the white wool block signifies that the flag has already been taken.  Above: look above my head (near top of pic), this shows who has the flag. The wool blocks float above your head in a circle, showing which flag you've got/carrying. It's hard to see in the image, but I couldn't get a better pic without being killed.  Above: here's a better shot of me carrying the flag, you see the wool blocks floating above your head constantly.
Thank you for your continued support. We're still testing the new CTF patch, and it will be added to all 15 of the CTF servers when we feel that we've sufficiently tested it. Feel free to discuss the patch by creating a topic in CTF Discussion, I eagerly await your feedback. |
