Not only did I deal almost fatal damage, he just can turn around and get the opportunity to one shot. REGARDLESS of the circumstances for the opportunity to one shot, it is absolutely uncalled for and unreasonable. You argue the time frame for the extra strength is very minuscule? Must not be - I've been killed just about every time I encounter an Assassin who uses Redstone. There is not enough reaction time to get out of reach of anyone in that scenario. Like I've said before, nobody should have the opportunity to one shot an opponent. Especially when you work them down damage, as showcased in my video. Also, I absolutely guarantee that the only reason people don't want a nerf to the kit is because they use the kit themselves and it would hinder their overpowered abilities.

I completely understand the situation with people who have purchased the kit, and the difficulty if not impossibility to refund them. But something has to be done. If I were in the staff's shoes I would either nerf it to not allow the kit to invoke a one shot kill, or provide a credit for any other kit on the list (Besides Cookie Monster 0_0). Another idea for a nerf is to make the strength boost from the Redstone only available when the player has full health (Similar to Cookie Monster's hunger rule).

I couldn't agree more, cookiemonster and assassin pretty much ruined hunger games.......
They could remove them without too much rage if they simply let the people who bought them get 1-2 more kits instead, couldn't they?

It's not a hacked client. The proper terminology is a modded client. And yes it is, however it was developed by a MCPvP staff member and supported for these servers. The reconnect feature is included in the mod. You can find a download and information for it here.
